The Ultrasound Technologist is responsible for providing diagnostic imaging services to patients and physicians, adhering to standards of practice, patient care, supplies, and equipment. They also coordinate teamwork with all members of the healthcare team.

Ultrasound Technologist Overview

Key responsibilities include:

  • Perform examinations with technical accuracy and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure accurate film identification on all images and complete computer functions including edits, status changes, charges, logging, film marking, and other workflow expectations for proper follow-up.
  • Operate and optimize equipment use, understand the visualized structures and their significance, and position patients to achieve quality diagnostic images according to department protocol.
  • Document initial and ongoing data, responses/results or interventions, and equipment concerns or malfunctions.
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Licensed and graduate of an accredited Ultrasound program.
  • Two-year degree in Ultrasonography (Diagnostic Medical Sonography).
  • ARDMS Credentialed: Abdominal and RVT.
  • One to two years of experience in vascular imaging, abdominal, Gyn, and small parts sonography.

Hours: Casual

Compensation: $35.41 - $51.35 USD Hourly
