Job summary

RadNet in Maryland is seeking a Floating Ultrasound Technologist to join a dedicated team delivering high-quality ultrasound services across Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Hanover, and Millersville. Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:00am-6:00pm with 8-hour shifts.

Will float between offices and assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies; ensure patient comfort and safety throughout examinations. Requirements include completing an Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma, SPI exam, ARDMS or

Qualifications

• Completed Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma.
• SPI exam passed.
• Current ARDMS certifications or AART (S).
• Minimum of 2 years Ultrasound experience.
• BLS certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in accordance with department policies and regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures when needed.
• Understand ultrasound data generation and the operation of imaging instruments.
• Monitor patient well-being during exams and respond to discomfort or issues.

When you join us as a Floating Ultrasound Technologist, you will be joining a dedicated team of professionals who deliver quality, value, and access in the 21 st century and align all stakeholders- patients, providers, payors, and regulators to achieve the best clinical outcomes.

Schedule: Monday-Friday 7:00am-6:00pm with 8 hour shift. Will float between Annapolis, Glen Burnie, Hanover & Millersville offices.

You Will

• Perform high quality ultrasound procedures in strict accordance with currently approved practices as outlined in department policy and procedure manuals, complying with all applicable federal, state, local and other regulatory requirements.
• Assist radiologists with ultrasound-guided biopsies and procedures if needed.
• Understand the methods used to generate ultrasound data and the theory and operation of the instruments that detect, display, and store the acoustic information generated in clinical examinations.
• Monitor patient's well-being during exams; recognises patient discomfort or medical problems and takes appropriate action.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have

• Applicants must have completed their Ultrasound Technologist program with diploma

Pay Range: $38.00 - $47.00 per hour
