Job summary

The Medical University of South Carolina is seeking an entry-level Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams for children, adolescents, and adults. You will be expected to deliver high-quality images for physician interpretation and rotate as needed across modalities.

Applicants must have completed the SPI exam before hire, hold ARDMS or ARRT(S) certification, and maintain current BLS. HR screening includes weekend 3rd shift coverage and ongoing professional competency.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited School of Diagnostic Medical Sonography.
• SPI exam completed prior to hire is required.
• Certification by ARDMS or ARRT(S) and BLS is required.
• At least 2 years of modality-specific experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations for interpretation by a physician on children, adolescents, and adults.
• Maintain high-quality imaging and patient care during procedures.
• Rotate across modalities as needed and demonstrate competency in advanced modality skill sets.
