Job summary

Encompass Medical Group in Kansas City, MO is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist to join Premier Imaging in our Radiology Department at the Wornall office. You will perform ultrasound and Doppler examinations, ensure image quality, and support physicians in diagnosis while maintaining patient care standards.

Qualified candidates are graduates of an accredited Ultrasound Technology program, ARRT(S) or ARDMS registered or registry-eligible, and have echo/vascular experience.

Qualifications

• Graduate of Ultrasound Technology program accredited by JCERT
• Certification by the ARRT(S) or ARDMS or registry eligible
• Echo and vascular experience required

Responsibilities

• Collects patient data and prepares for ultrasound procedures.
• Performs diagnostic ultrasound and vascular examinations using standard protocols.
• Ensures high-quality images and documents findings in the EMR.
• Monitors patient status during procedures and provides life support if needed.
• Adheres to infection control practices and professional standards.
• Maintains credentials and continuing education to support clinical practice.
