Veracity Ventures Inc. in Seaside, Oregon seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to join our patient-focused imaging team. This full-time, onsite position operates on the night shift, performing diagnostic ultrasound examinations with care for diverse patients.

New graduates are welcomed if board eligibility and Oregon temporary licensing are met; ARDMS certification is expected within 6 months. The role emphasizes accurate imaging and collaboration with physicians.

Qualifications

• Education sufficient to meet applicable certification, licensing, and registration requirements.
• Oregon Sonographer License OR Oregon Sonographer Temporary License – required upon hire.
• AHA BLS – required upon hire.
• ARDMS certification – required within 6 months (180 days) of hire.
• Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound examinations according to physician orders.
• Operate and utilize a variety of advanced ultrasound equipment.
• Produce high-quality, accurate diagnostic images.
• Adapt imaging techniques based on each patient's condition and needs.
• Consider special, individual, and age-related patient requirements during examinations.
• Follow established clinical procedures, safety standards, and departmental protocols.
• Provide compassionate, patient-focused care throughout each examination.
• Communicate effectively with patients, physicians, and healthcare team.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to ultrasound procedures.
• Support organizational standards for quality, safety, and whole-person care.

• American Heart Association (AHA) BLS – required upon hire.


• ARDMS certification – required within 6 months (180 days) of hire.


• Clinical experience in diagnostic ultrasound.

New Graduate Requirements

• Are board eligible for ARDMS certification upon hire.


• Obtain ARDMS certification within 6 months of hire.


• Have an OBMI temporary license upon hire.


• Obtain the required permanent Oregon sonographer license within 6 months of hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of clinical diagnostic ultrasound experience.


• Previous hospital or healthcare imaging experience.


• Strong knowledge of diagnostic ultrasound procedures and equipment.


• Excellent patient-care and communication skills.


• Ability to work effectively with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare teams.
