Job summary

LanceSoft is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist for a Monday–Friday, 8:00 am–4:30 pm schedule at our Republic location. The role focuses on performing two-dimensional ultrasound examinations to assist in diagnosing conditions of internal organs, with additional emphasis on quality, accuracy, and patient care.

The ideal candidate will have completed an accredited ultrasound program, be ARDMS-eligible, and maintain BLS certification and CME requirements, while upholding regulatory standards and

Qualifications

• Bachelor of Science in Diagnostic Medical Sonography strongly preferred.
• Completed an approved one-year ultrasound program.
• Must be eligible for ARDMS registry.
• Certification in a specialty area is required or preferred.
• Current BLS certification and CME compliance are expected.

Responsibilities

• Performs two dimensional ultrasound recordings of internal organs for diagnosis.
• Adheres to regulatory requirements and maintains professional conduct.
• Represents the organization positively in the community and during meetings.

Job Summary

Performs two dimensional (2-D) ultrasonic recordings of internal organs for the diagnosis of disease and study of the malfunction of organs.

Professional Requirements

• Actively checks and responds to emails throughout the day.
• Completes all mandatory education within given time-frame.
• Maintains regulatory requirements.
• Reports to work on time and as scheduled.
• Wears identification while on duty; uses computerized punch time system correctly.
• Represents the organization in a positive and professional manner in the community.
• Attends annual review and department in-services as scheduled.
• Attends at least 75% of staff meetings; reviews all monthly staff meeting minutes.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements

• Bachelor of Science degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography is desirable.
• Successful completion of an approved one (1) year program in ultrasound technology.
• Must be eligible for registry by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers (ARDMS).
• Certification in area of specialty.
• Current BLS certification.
• Current compliance with Continuing Medical Education (CME) requirements for specialty as appropriate.
