Job summary

Roxborough Memorial Hospital is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to operate and optimize ultrasound equipment, perform exams, and generate diagnostic images for interpretation. The role requires certification in at least one body region and completion of an accredited ultrasound program, with BCLS certification active on hire.

Full-time hours are dayshift, with a focus on accurate image acquisition and timely transmission to PACS.

Qualifications

• RDMS/ARDMS or ARRT S certification within 90 days of hire and maintenance.
• Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program, or current equivalent certification.
• Previous experience preferred.
• Current BCLS certificate required upon hire and maintain current.
• Proficient computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Ultrasound Technologist demonstrates competency in performing all ultrasound exams, ensuring proficiency in producing technical and diagnostic scans for interpretation.
• Positions patient and equipment and produce an appropriate recording.
• The Ultrasound Technician is responsible for processing and transmission of Images to PACS.
