Job summary

Kadlec Regional Medical Center is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to independently perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures across pediatric to geriatric patients under the Radiologist's direction. The successful candidate joins a care-focused team at Kadlec Regional Medical Center in Richland, WA, delivering high-quality imaging and patient care.

Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
• Associate's Degree or higher in Diagnostic Medical Sonography; AA degree or equivalent experience acceptable.
• ARDMS certification upon hire; NRT-Sonography certification upon hire.
• BLS CPR certification by American Heart Association upon hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures under Radiologist supervision.
• Care for pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients.
• Ensure patient comfort and maintain ultrasound equipment and records.

Education

Associate's Degree in Diagnostic Medical Sonography

Equivalent education/experience in Diagnostic Medical Sonography

National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography

National Provider BLS - American Heart Association

Washington Radiologic Technologist certification

National Registered Technologist - Radiography

1 year Medical Sonography experience

Under the general supervision of the Supervisor, Ultrasound, independently performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures on pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients under the direction of a Radiologist.

Post are the minimum and the maximum wage rates on the wage range for this position. The successful candidate's placement on the wage range for this position will be determined based upon relevant job experience and other applicable factors.

Required Qualifications

• Completion of an approved Ultrasound Technology Training Program.
• Associate's Degree or higher from an accredited educational institution in Diagnostic Medical Sonography required; If no AA Degree, an equivalent combination of education/experience equal to that of an AA Degree may be considered or equivalent education/experience.
• National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire, OrNational Registered Technologist - Sonography upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Preferred Qualifications

• Washington Radiologic Technologist upon hire.
• National Registered Technologist - Radiography - American Registry of Radiologic Technologists upon hire.
• 1 year Medical Sonography as a Registered Sonographer or as a registry eligible Sonographer.
