Job summary

Providence Jobs in Olympia is seeking a diagnostic sonographer to perform ultrasound exams and assist physicians as needed. The role requires professional interaction within a multidisciplinary team and adherence to Providence policies and mission.

Qualified candidates will have accredited ultrasound training, ARDMS registry eligibility or certification, and BLS certification. This is a full-time, on-site position with a comprehensive benefits package at Providence Swedish OBGYN in Olympia.

Qualifications

• Must have completed an accredited ultrasound training program.
• Eligibility to sit the ARDMS registry examination.
• National certification from ARDMS or NRT-Sonography upon hire.
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association upon hire.

Under the general supervision, performs diagnostic medical sonographic exams, assists physician as required, and performs related duties as assigned.

Must present self in a professional manner, work well with a multidisciplinary team, have good communication skills, and adhere to Swedish policies and vision statement.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound training program or
• Education and experience sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination.
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Registered Technologist - Sonography.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
