Job summary

Providence Swedish OBGYN-Olympia is seeking a Diagnostic Medical Sonographer to perform ultrasound examinations under supervision and assist physicians as needed.

You will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, maintain professional communication, and uphold Providence policies as you contribute to patient-centered care in our Olympia clinic.

The position requires completion of an accredited ultrasound program, ARDMS eligibility or registry, and BLS certification on hire.

Qualifications

• Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound training program.
• Education and experience sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take ARDMS registry examination.
• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Registered Technologist - Sonography.
• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.

Required Qualifications

• Coursework/Training: Successful completion of an accredited Ultrasound training program or

• Education and experience sufficient to meet eligibility requirements to take American Registry of Diagnostic Ultrasonographers (ARDMS) registry examination.

• Upon hire: National Certification from American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography or National Registered Technologist - Sonography.

• Upon hire: National Provider BLS - American Heart Association.
