Summary:
Provide assistance to Perinatologist in gathering data, operate diagnostic ultrasound equipment, and obtain diagnostic quality images of female pelvic organs, uterus, and fetus. Maintain all necessary supplies and equipment for the Antenatal Diagnostic Testing Unit.
High School diploma or equivalent.
Required: Graduate of an accredited ultrasound program. Two to three years of experience in performing ultrasounds preferred, with at least one year in OB ultrasound preferred.
Minimum Experience: Two years.
American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonography (RDMS) registration within 1 year required.
Manual skills/motor coordination and finger dexterity required. Some occupational risk. Very heavy physical effort; may exert up to 50 lbs. force. Exposure to dirt, odors, noise, human waste, etc.
