Job Summary and Qualifications

• Work schedule: Friday, Saturday, Sunday - 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM

The Ultrasound Tech collaborates with leadership and medical staff to improve workflow, support, education, and perform sonography/vascular procedures as per Texas state and departmental protocols, including neurological, oncologic, and cardiac services.

Responsibilities

• Address customer needs in the Ultrasound area.
• Demonstrate knowledge of clinical procedures, equipment, and policies.
• Collaborate to develop and implement goals.
• Maintain productivity and quality standards.
• Prioritize work and meet deadlines.
• Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Access secure areas following training and necessary duties.

Qualifications

• Licensed by ARDMS.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support certification within 30 days of start date.
• Registered Vascular Technician (RVT).
• Graduate of an Ultrasonographer or Diagnostic Medical Sonographer program, or hold an Associate Degree or Vocational School diploma.
