Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform ultrasound imaging procedures in hospital and freestanding ER settings. You will communicate compassionately with patients and maintain equipment and the scanning area to ensure safety and accuracy.

The role requires ARDMS RDMS certification, BLS/CPR, a valid driver's license, and the ability to work independently in busy clinical environments. Excellent interpersonal skills are essential.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation.
• Current ARDMS RDMS certification.
• Valid driver’s license and BLS/CPR certification.
• Ability to perform general abdominal, OB and vascular scans.
• Comfort with emergency room scanning and hospital settings.

Requirements

• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation
• Current ARDMS certification – RDMS, ideally in Ab or OB
• Valid driver’s license
• BLS/CPR certification
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
• Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB, and general vascular scans/procedures
• Ability to use mobile phone devices and applications
• Proficiency with necessary technical equipment in the diagnostic modality
