Job summary

Jobtailor is seeking an ultrasound technologist to perform diverse imaging procedures, primarily in ER settings, across hospital and standalone facilities. The role requires compassionate patient interaction and professional coordination with hospital staff.

Candidates must hold ARDMS RDMS, maintain BLS/CPR certification, and be able to work independently while meeting health and compliance requirements. A valid driver's license is also required.

Job description

• Perform a wide range of ultrasound imaging procedures
• Communicate compassionately and professionally with patients
• Maintain equipment and area cleanliness
• Communicate professionally and effectively with hospital staff and colleagues
• Complete additional tasks as needed
• Conduct a wide range of scans, primarily in emergency room environments, including hospital and free-standing settings

Requirements

• Must reside in Ohio, Pennsylvania, Michigan, Kentucky, West Virginia, Indiana, Illinois, Missouri, or Tennessee
• Minimum 1 year of ultrasound imaging experience post-graduation
• Current ARDMS certification – RDMS, ideally in Ab or OB
• Valid driver’s license
• BLS/CPR certification
• Professionalism and strong interpersonal communication skills
Self-motivated with the ability to work independently
• Pass all necessary health requirements for hospital employment, including drug screen and background check
• Comfort level with general abdominal, general OB, and general vascular scans/procedures
• Ability to use mobile phone devices and applications
• Proficiency with necessary technical equipment in diagnostic modality
