Join Our Team as an Ultrasound Technologist at Indiana University Health

We are seeking a qualified Ultrasound Technologist to join our team at Indiana University Health in Indianapolis. This full-time, dayshift position is based at Methodist Hospital, with working hours from Monday to Friday, 8:30 am to 5:00 pm.

Position Overview: You will perform ultrasound procedures for diagnostic purposes, demonstrating the necessary knowledge and skills to work with a diverse patient population from pediatric to geriatric. You will follow physician instructions, operate ultrasound equipment, and position patients correctly to obtain diagnostic images while treating patients with care and respect.

Qualifications:

• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
• Active certification through ARDMS, ARRT, or CCI as applicable, with specific credentials depending on department accreditation and specialty.
• If performing breast ultrasound only, must obtain specific credentials within 18 months of hire.
• For non-ACR departments, candidates should be pursuing ultrasound education or have passed the ARDMS physics boards, with certification required within 12 months of hire.
• May require additional registration or licensing as per state or department requirements.
• Ability to maneuver equipment and adapt patient positioning as needed.
