Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams as ordered by physicians. The role emphasizes effective patient care, accurate imaging techniques, and teamwork within our imaging services.

The candidate should hold ARDMS certification or equivalent and be capable of independent work while maintaining high standards of documentation and safety.

Qualifications

• Exceptional communication and patient care skills.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Basic computer skills.
• Education: High School Diploma or GED required.
• License Required: ARDMS Certification in Ultrasound (If hired without a license, ARDMS or ARRT(S) or CCI certification is required within 24 months of obtaining position).
• Sterile procedure.
• Provides correct patient identification, technique, education, instruction, and transportation, as necessary.
• Serves as preceptor for imaging procedures.
• Operates all imaging and Doppler/duplex equipment with proper technique.
• Meets all computer and documentation competencies.
