Qualifications

  • Certification in CPR-BLS required.
  • Registry eligible required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform ultrasound exams and interpret results.
  • Prepare patients for exams and ensure their comfort.
  • Clean and maintain equipment.

Education

High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
Completion of formal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers
Registered Ultrasonographer preferred

Job description

Hourly Pay Range:

$33.35 - $51.69 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Ultrasound Technologist - Days
Position Highlights:
  • Position: Ultrasound Technologist
  • Location: Highland Park Hospital
  • Full Time/Part Time: Full Time 40 hours
  • Hours: Tues/Wed 9:30 AM-6 PM, Thu/Fri 8 AM-4:30 PM, Sat 7 AM-3:30 PM
  • Call: 6-8 calls per month/as needed
  • Required Travel: Local - Gurnee, Vernon Hills, Highland Park
What you will do:
  • Perform ultrasound exams
  • Prepare patients for exams: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients, and ensure their comfort
  • Interpret ultrasound results
  • Clean and maintain equipment
  • Schedule patients if necessary
What you will need:
  • License: N/A
  • Education: High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent work experience
  • Certification: CPR-BLS required. Completion of formal ultrasound program approved by the American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers required. Registry eligible required; prefer Registered Ultrasonographer
  • Skills: N/A
