Job summary

SimonMed Imaging seeks a skilled Ultrasound Technologist to perform abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN, small parts, and vascular exams, delivering high-quality images with patient-centered care. You will review your work for diagnostic completeness and manage your own workflow in a fast-paced outpatient setting.

The role requires ARDMS certification, 1–2 years of ultrasound experience, and proficiency with PACS/RIS/EMR, with a commitment to QA and ongoing professional development.

Qualifications

• ARDMS certification in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or applicable specialty required — or registry-eligible with a clear path to certification.
• Completed accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• 1–2 years of clinical ultrasound experience (general, OB/GYN, and/or vascular) preferred.
• Current BLS certification.
• Valid state licensure current (where required).
• Proficiency in ultrasound equipment and PACS, RIS, and EMR systems.
• Strong image optimization and multi-specialty scanning protocol knowledge.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume outpatient environment.
• Strong communication skills with patients, radiologists, and clinical staff.
• Commitment to QA participation and ongoing professional development.
• Willingness to mentor students and contribute to a positive clinical culture

Responsibilities

• Perform the full spectrum of ultrasound exams—abdominal, pelvic, OB/GYN across all three trimesters, small parts, and vascular studies.
• Own the quality of every image you produce and ensure diagnostic completeness before radiologist review.
• Manage your own workflow in a high-volume outpatient environment and keep exam area stocked and clean.
• Mentor students and contribute to QA participation and continuing education.
• Communicate clearly with patients, radiologists, and staff throughout procedures.
