Job summary

Touchstone Medical Imaging, a partner of Lumexa Imaging, is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound procedures in a fast-paced outpatient imaging environment. The role ensures patient safety, comfort, and accurate imaging while delivering an exceptional patient experience.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 40-hour work week. You will collaborate with radiologists and staff, maintain equipment, and follow HIPAA regulations to support patient care.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• RVT and/or ARDMS (AB) and/or OB/GYN certification required.
• State licensure as required
• Current BLS certification preferred

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of ultrasound procedures (e.g., general, vascular, OB/GYN as applicable) in accordance with physician orders and established protocols
• Ensure proper patient positioning, image acquisition, and quality assurance
• Provide clear instructions and compassionate care to patients throughout the exam
• Recognize and document anatomical, pathological, and technical factors to produce high-quality images
• Verify patient information, orders, and documentation for accuracy
• Maintain ultrasound equipment and report any issues promptly
• Adhere to all safety, infection control, and HIPAA regulations
• Collaborate effectively with radiologists, technologists, and front office staff
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of exam rooms and work areas
