Job summary

Medical City Denton is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to join our team. Shift: Day shift on weekends. Performs quality ultrasound procedures, follows physician orders, ensures patient care and safety, and contributes to department quality initiatives.

This role participates in call/holiday coverage and maintains competency with current procedures while supporting a positive patient experience. This position emphasizes teamwork, ongoing education, radiation safety, and meticulous

Qualifications

• At least 1 year ultrasound experience preferred.
• Must be registered/eligible by RDMS in abdomen or Ob/Gyn within 6 months of hire.
• If no advanced certification, obtain within 1 year of hire/promotion or training completion.
• BLS certification required by HCA approved vendor.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date.

Responsibilities

• Performs quality Ultrasound procedures following physician orders.
• Practices quality patient care and exemplary customer service.
• Participates in call/holiday coverage and maintains competency with procedures.
• Participates in equipment QC and complete all records and documentation.
• Adheres to radiation safety and supports department initiatives.

Job Summary And Qualifications

Performs quality Ultrasound procedures, follows physician’s orders, practices quality patient care, exercise excellent customer service, participates in call/holiday coverage, maintains competencies and current knowledge of procedures, participates in equipment Q.C., completes all records and documentation, practices radiation safety, involved in department initiatives.

What Qualifications You Will Need

• Prefer at least 1 year experience
• Must be registered/eligible by R.D.M.S. in at least one of the following: Abdomen, Ob/Gyn within 6 month of hire. Additionally, the associate must be registered/eligible by R.D.M.S (RVT) or (RVS) by C.C.I. If associate does not hold advanced certification, associate shall obtain within 1 year of hire/promotion or completion of training program.
• BLS certified by HCA approved vendor.
• Basic Cardiac Life Support must be obtained within 30 days of employment start date
