The shift is full-time days at West Hospital.

Sign-On Bonus available for qualifying candidates.

Responsibilities include performing ultrasound procedures for radiological diagnosis efficiently, demonstrating the necessary knowledge and skills to work with patients from pediatric to geriatric, following physician instructions, preparing and operating equipment, and correctly positioning patients to record diagnostic images. Treat patients with care and respect. OBGYN experience is preferred.

Minimum requirements:

1. Basic Life Support certification.
2. Active credentials in one of the following: ARDMS (Registered Diagnostic Medical Sonographer in Abdomen, OB/GYN, or Pediatric), ARRT (Registered Technologist in Sonography or Vascular Sonography), or CCI (Registered Vascular Sonographer), as required by accreditation.
3. If performing breast ultrasound only, must obtain ARDMS or ARRT credential within 18 months of hire.
4. For non-ACR departments, candidates must be pursuing ultrasound education and have passed the ARDMS physics boards or graduated from an ultrasound program, with certification within 12 months of hire.
5. May require ARRT registration in another modality or Indiana State license.
6. Ability to maneuver equipment and improvise positioning as needed.
