Job summary

Proforma Health in Arcata, CA is seeking a Full-Time Ultrasound Technologist to perform clinical diagnostic ultrasound imaging across all patient age groups under departmental supervision.

Responsibilities include executing imaging procedures, delivering excellent patient and staff service, participating in quality control and improvements, and serving as a resource for less experienced sonographers; the role includes on-call scheduling.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited diagnostic ultrasound program or equivalent education/experience.
• National Certification from the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography upon hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association upon hire.
