Job summary

Silver Cross Hospital seeks an ultrasound professional to perform high-frequency diagnostic imaging to assist physicians in making accurate diagnoses. The role requires ARDMS/RVT registration or eligibility and prior clinical ultrasound experience, with strong customer service skills.

Shifts vary, including weekend work and on-call responsibilities in the Ultrasound department at Silver Cross Hospital in New Lenox, IL.

Qualifications

• ARDMS and/or RVT registered or registry eligible with prior clinical ultrasound experience at Silver Cross Hospital (must be registered within 6 months of hire).
• Previous ultrasound experience preferred. Great customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound imaging to aid physician diagnoses.
• Collaborate with physicians and other staff to ensure quality patient care.
• Maintain equipment and patient safety during procedures.

SUMMARY

Utilizes high frequency sound waves and other diagnostics techniques to produce images of organs, tissues, or blood flow inside the body that are used by physicians to make a medical diagnosis.

REQUIREMENTS

ARDMS and/or RVT registered or registry eligible with prior clinical ultrasound experience at Silver Cross Hospital (must be registered within 6 months of hire). Previous ultrasound experience preferred. Great customer service skills.

WORK SHIFT DETAILS

Various, 1 weekend and 1 weekend day with call and 1 holiday are required for this position.

EXPECTED PAY

The expected pay for this position is listed below: $42.00 - $42.00. The final pay rate offered may be more than the posted range based on several factors including but not limited to: licensure, certifications, work experience, education, knowledge, demonstrated abilities, internal equity, market data, and more.
