Job summary

Maria Parham Health, part of Duke Lifepoint Healthcare, seeks an Ultrasound Technician to perform abdominal, OB, vascular, and other ultrasound exams, ensuring accurate interpretation and proper equipment calibration. You will support physicians and staff, maintain a safe, efficient workflow, and participate in ongoing education.

The role requires graduation from a DMS program or ARRT/DMS certification, and BLS within 30 days of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or School of Radiology required.
• One (1) year of diagnostic medical sonography experience preferred
• Graduate of an accredited DMS program or ARRT/DMS certification
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required within 30 days of hire

Responsibilities

• Performs abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, and small‑parts ultrasound examinations.
• Maintains equipment calibration and organized work area; ensures patient care across lifespan.
