Responsibilities

Ultrasound Technician The Ultrasound Technologist plays a critical role in patient care by executing ultrasonic diagnostic procedures as physicians prescribe. This position requires a commitment to patient comfort and safety and maintaining high quality and compliance standards in imaging practices.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities

• Diagnostic Procedures: Perform ultrasound/sonography procedures on patients, including preparing them for exams, positioning them appropriately, selecting the correct imaging techniques, and ensuring image quality.
• Data Management: Enter and monitor patient data accurately within the electronic medical records system.
• Equipment Quality Assurance: Conduct regular quality assurance checks on ultrasound equipment to ensure functionality and safety.
• Incident Reporting: Promptly identify and report any accidents, complaints, or equipment malfunctions to departmental management.
• Patient and Staff Safety: Always ensure a safe environment for patients, staff, and visitors.
• Additional Duties: Perform tasks or responsibilities assigned by the immediate supervisor or department director.
• Meetings: Attend staff and company-sponsored meetings as required to stay informed and involved.

Qualifications Required
