Job summary

Lumer damaged Lumera Healthcare Group seeks Ultrasound Technicians to operate ultrasound equipment and produce diagnostic images while ensuring patient safety and comfort. Flexible assignments across hospitals and imaging centers provide competitive pay and support.

Requirements include an accredited diagnostic sonography program, ARDMS preferred (or eligible), and BLS/CPR certification. 1+ year of clinical experience is preferred but new grads may be considered.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree or certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography from an accredited program.
• ARDMS certification preferred (or eligible).
• BLS/CPR certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Explain procedures and prepare patients to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to capture clear, accurate images.
• Analyze and record images for physician interpretation.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain detailed records of patient exams and imaging results.
• Provide compassionate, professional care while addressing patient questions and concerns.
