Job summary

Lumera Healthcare Group is seeking an experienced Ultrasound Technician (Sonographer) in Fort Worth to operate ultrasound equipment and produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will ensure patient safety, comfort, and confidentiality while supporting radiologists and physicians across diverse facilities.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or related field from an accredited program.
• ARDMS certification preferred or eligible.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• 1+ year of clinical experience as an Ultrasound Tech preferred (new grads may be considered).

Responsibilities

• Perform ultrasound examinations in accordance with physician orders and established protocols.
• Explain procedures and prepare patients to ensure comfort and cooperation.
• Operate and maintain ultrasound equipment to capture clear, accurate images.
• Analyze and record images for physician interpretation.
• Ensure patient safety and maintain strict confidentiality of patient information.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and other healthcare professionals to ensure accurate diagnoses.
• Maintain detailed records of patient exams and imaging results.
