Job summary

US Heart and Vascular is seeking a PRN Dual Sonographer to join Birmingham Heart Clinic in Rainbow City, AL. You will perform routine and complex echocardiography and vascular duplex ultrasound, with preliminary interpretation and a focus on patient-centered care.

Availability on Fridays is required. Credentialing in Echocardiography (RDCS or RCS) and Vascular Technology (RVT or RVS) or ARDMS/CCI registration is required, with at least one year of echocardiography experience.

Qualifications

• Experience in routine and complex echocardiography and vascular duplex ultrasound.
• Credentialed in Echocardiography (RDCS/RCS) and Vascular Technology (RVT/RVS).
• Registered cardiovascular sonographer through ARDMS or CCI.

Responsibilities

• Performs routine and complex echocardiography and vascular duplex ultrasound examinations with preliminary interpretation.
• Includes stress and contrast echocardiograms; peripheral venous/arterial and visceral/renal vascular exams.
• Explains procedures to patients and obtains informed consent; available to work Fridays.
