Qualifications

• Graduate from an accredited Sonography/Radiologic Tech Program.
• ARDMS or ARRT certification is required.

Job description

Responsibilties:
A day in the life of an Ultrasound Technologist includes:

• Performing ultrasound procedures and processes consistent with industry standards, regulations and policy, under the direction of the Physician and providers.
• Greeting patients in a prompt courteous manner and reviewing charts in advance of patient intake
• Performing studies to the specifications requested by the physician
• Completing all authorized patient chart documentation in an accurate, legible and timely manner
• Monitoring ultrasound and work area supply inventory and equipment
• Performing Outpatient scans

Qualifications:

• American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) is required
• Must be a graduate of an accredited Sonography/Radiologic Tech Program
• Two (2) or more years of experience in ObGyn/ perinatal experience highly preferred
• Nuchal Translucency certification is a plus
