Job summary

Community Health Network is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams according to physician orders. The role requires strong communication and patient care skills, and an ability to work independently.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Provide correct patient identification, technique, education, instruction, and transportation.

• Serve as preceptor for imaging procedures.

Qualifications

• Must be able to scan General, OB, and Vascular studies.

• Aptitude toward the team philosophy.
• Ability to work independently without direct supervision.
• Basic computer skills.
• Sterile procedure knowledge.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Current ARDMS Certification in Ultrasound. If hired without a license, ARDMS or ARRT(S) or CCI certification required within 24 months of starting the position.
• Willingness to cross‑train and to train the right candidate.
