Job summary

Connecthcs seeks an Ultrasound Technician for a 100+ bed healthcare facility in Tennessee. You will perform abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, and small parts studies, with interpretation by a radiologist. Schedule is Mon, Tue, Thu, Fri, 8a-4p, with a $15,000 sign-on bonus.

Responsibilities include maintaining files and equipment and reporting to the Ultrasound Supervisor or Radiology Director. ARRT/ARDMS required; BLS within 30 days of hire; 1 year of experience preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS or ARRT(S) registry required.
• One year of diagnostic medical sonography preferred.
• BLS within 30 days of hire.

Our client, a 100+ bed healthcare facility located within 2 hrs of Great Smoky Mountains area of TN, within an hour of Knoxville and Chattanooga, has a need for an Ultrasound Tech to join their team. You will be working Mon, Tues, Thurs, Fri 8a-4p.

An Ultrasound Technician who excels in this role:

• Provides quality ultrasound studies including abdominal, OB, vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, and small parts exams for interpretation by the radiologist in the diagnosis of patient illness.
• Maintains appropriate files, supplies, and equipment.
• Reports to the Ultrasound Supervisor and/or Radiology Director.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or School of Radiology required. Graduate of an accredited DMS program or ARRT/DMS certification
• One year of diagnostic medical sonography is Preferred
• BLS required within 30 days of hire.
• ARDMS or ARRT (S) registry required.
