Job summary

AdventHealth in Winter Garden, FL seeks an Ultrasound Technologist to perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams, verify orders, and document findings. The role requires ultrasound physics knowledge, Doppler techniques, and proficiency with radiology software and PACS. You will educate patients and maintain accuracy in EMR documentation.

Schedule: FT, Day shift. Sign-on bonus available up to $7,500. Florida-based facility with comprehensive benefits and commitment to patient care.

Qualifications

• Must have knowledge of ultrasound physics and cross-sectional/vascular anatomy and Doppler techniques.
• Must be able to read, write, and speak conversational English.
• Must learn and use Radiology software packages and PACS applications.
• Must maintain required licenses and continuing education.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams in accordance with orders and protocols.
• Verifies patient identity and exam appropriateness and obtains clinical history.
• Positions patients and equipment to acquire optimal images and data.
• Maintains accurate documentation in EMR and PACS.
• Explains procedures to patients and ensures comfort and privacy.
