Job summary

Northwest Texas Healthcare System in Amarillo, TX is seeking a Tech - Multi Modality to perform MRI, CT, routine radiography and angiography procedures. The role requires proficiency in two modalities, including radiography, with strong emphasis on patient safety and environment control.

The candidate will supervise students, provide feedback, and train fellow technologists in their modality, while upholding safety and quality standards across procedures.

Qualifications

Graduate of an accredited School of Radiology.
Current: American Registry of Radiology Technologist (ARRT) certification.
Texas General Radiology License issued by the Texas Medical Board.
Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

Performs MRI, CT, routine radiography and angiography procedures.
Proficient in two modalities, including radiography, with emphasis on patient safety and environment control.
Supervises students and provides feedback on their performance as a professional role model.
Trains fellow technologists in their modality and supports problem resolution and communication.

Position: Tech - Multi Modality

Position Summary:

Performs a variety of technical procedures which may include: M.R.I., CAT Scan, Routine Radiography and Angiography. The Tech - Multi Modality should be proficient in two areas, including Radiography. The Tech - Multi Modality will comply with approved standards in patient safety, radiation protection, infection control and environment control. Provide an environment conducive to safety and comfort of patients, staff and visitors. Utilizes the appropriate leadership skills in supervising students and providing feedback concerning their performance. Has the ability to train fellow technologists in their particular modality. Has communication and problem resolution skills and is a professional role model.
