Job summary

Premier Health Partners' Atrium Medical Center in Middletown, OH seeks an Ultrasound Tech to perform diagnostic ultrasound procedures and interventional studies. The position is PRN-Varies, with on-call potential, and focuses on high-quality imaging and patient care.

The ideal candidate has an associate degree in Sonography and relevant ARDMS/ARRT registries, with BLS certification and EMR/RIS proficiency. Experience is preferred but not required.

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited Associate degree program in Allied Health/Sonography.
• RV T (ARDMS) or RVS (Cardiac Credentialing Institute) required; ARDMS/ARRT in Abdomen, OB/GYN, MSK or Breast preferred (or within 6 months).
• BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire.
• Two of the following ARDMS/ARRT credentials and on-time certification within 6 months of hire available are acceptable.
• 2 years ultrasound experience preferred; variable on-call responsibilities may apply.

Responsibilities

• Independently performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ultrasound-directed interventional procedures following proper techniques and protocols.
• Coordinates patient flow and activities of the Ultrasound Department.
• Maintains equipment in good working condition and exercises professional judgment.
• May perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on department needs.
• May have on-call responsibilities.

Independently performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures and ultrasound directed interventional procedures utilizing
proper techniques and protocols. Works under their scope of practice and in accordance with registry in the
operation of equipment. Coordinates patient flow and the activities of the Ultrasound Department. Exercises
professional judgment in the performance of duties in order to maintain equipment in good working condition. May
perform procedures in other imaging modalities based on departmental needs. May have on call responsibilities.
EDUCATION REQUIRED: Graduation from an accredited Associate degree program in Allied Health/Sonography
Registry And Certification Required

• RVT (ARDMS-American Registry of Diagnostic Medical Sonographers) or RVS (Cardiac Credentialing Institute)
• One of the following (ARDMS/ARRT): Abdomen, OB/GYN, MSK, Breast
• AHA or American Red Cross BLS Provider certification required within 30 days of hire
