  • Education sufficient to be Ultrasound registry eligible through the American Registry for Diagnostic Medical Sonography (ARDMS) or the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT).
  • At least one year of ultrasound experience preferred, but not required.
  • Required Licenses/Certifications: ARDMS Registration, CPR.

Routine Responsibilities
  • Performs ultrasound exams according to department protocols.

  • Obtains history and appropriate diagnosis for each exam.

  • Provides patient care appropriate for their age, condition, and emotional status.
  • Checks department requisitions and schedules, prioritizing tasks.
  • Recognizes duties requiring completion but not directly assigned.
  • Assists other staff as needed.
  • Maintains a clean and organized work environment.
