Job summary

Toledo Clinic in Toledo, OH seeks a competent Ultrasound Technologist to perform diagnostic procedures and document impressions. The role requires regulatory knowledge, equipment maintenance, and patient positioning for optimal imaging.

Qualified candidates will have Radiologic Technology training and registry eligibility, with strong attention to safety, timeliness, and teamwork. Travel to other TTC radiology locations may be required occasionally.

Qualifications

• Must be a registered Ultrasound Technologist or Registry eligible.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and OSHA regulations.
• Completes tasks within established time frame and adheres to clinic policies.
• Seeks appropriate tasks when primary tasks are completed and assists coworkers.
• Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.

Job description

Works under the supervision of the Lead Ultrasound Technologist.

• Consistently arrives at work on time and adheres to regular work schedule.
• Performs ultrasounds diagnostic procedures.
• Writes technical impressions.
• Ensures machinery is operating properly.
• Maintains necessary inventory.
• Positions patients for procedure.

Other Essential Duties May Include but Are Not Limited To

• Prepares patients for physician (vitals, asst. with exams, etc.)
• Schedules procedures and educate patients.
• May require occasional travel to other TTC radiology locations.
• Other duties as assigned

Required:

• Adheres to all clinic policies and procedures.

• Demonstrates adaptability to expanded roles.
• BLS/CPR Certified

Education:

• Radiologic Technology Graduate required.
• Registry Eligible (must pass registry within 1 year of employment)
