Job summary

AdventHealth in Orlando, FL is seeking a full-time Ultrasound Technologist to acquire and analyze ultrasound data for radiologist review. You will train staff, support scheduling, and ensure high-quality exams with patient-centric care.

The role requires proficiency in abdomen, OB/GYN, and vascular studies, with PACS experience and strong communication. Day shift, Monday/Tuesday/Wednesday/Friday, on-site at 7727 Lake Underhill Rd, Orlando.

Qualifications

• Knowledgeable in Abdomen, Abdominal Doppler, OB/Gyn, Small Parts, Vascular and Interventional Sonographic procedures
• Ability to master new tasks related to computer software and PACS
• Ability to communicate effectively with diverse backgrounds
• Ability to meet deadlines and complete tasks timely
• Ability to perform Venous Ultrasound Doppler
• Proficiency with AGFA PACS and related equipment
• Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook

Responsibilities

• Acquire and analyze ultrasound images and data for radiologist interpretation
• Promote a positive patient experience through service excellence and effective communication
• Provide orientation, training, and coaching to team members
• Assist scheduling to ensure adequate coverage during all hours of operation
• Oversee quality control testing, equipment maintenance, and troubleshooting
• Perform high-quality diagnostic ultrasound exams per orders and protocols
• Explain procedures to patients and ensure comfort, privacy, and cooperation
