MedQuest Imaging, a part of Novant Health, is seeking an Ultrasound Tech III in Charlotte, NC. Join a collaborative outpatient imaging team focused on compassionate, high-quality services.

This role offers a daytime schedule with no overnight shifts and a strong emphasis on professional growth and patient-centered care. Ideal candidates are graduates of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program with ARDMS credentials in multiple modalities, state licensure if required, and experience

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program.
• ARDMS certification in at least three modalities (e.g., OB/GYN, Abdomen, Vascular).
• Applicable state license where required.

Responsibilities

• Performs high-quality ultrasound imaging and procedural support.
• Collaborates with physicians to ensure diagnostic value; completes detailed ultrasounds independently.
• Maintains imaging documentation and adheres to clinical protocols.

What You'll Do

An Ultrasound Tech III performs high-quality ultrasound imaging and provides procedural support in collaboration with physicians, and independently completes detailed ultrasounds, using appropriate imaging techniques to ensure accuracy and diagnostic value.

What We're Looking For

Required Qualifications:

• Graduate of an accredited Diagnostic Medical Sonography program
• ARDMS certification in at least three modalities (e.g., OB/GYN, Abdomen, Vascular)
• Applicable state license where required

Preferred Qualifications:

• ARDMS certification (or eligibility) in vascular (RVT) ultrasound preferred
• Compassionate bedside manner and strong communication skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with physicians and other healthcare professionals
• Familiarity with Epic electronic medical records (EMR) systems
