Job summary

Person Memorial Hospital in Roxboro, NC is seeking an Ultrasound Technologist to perform general and vascular ultrasound studies in a full-time, nonexempt role. The position requires both independent work and collaboration with physicians, with day schedule 8:00am-4:30pm.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or School of Radiology is required.
• DGSM experience is preferred; demonstrated ability to learn advanced ultrasound procedures.
• Graduate of an accredited DMS program or ARRT/DMS certification.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.

Responsibilities

• Perform a variety of diagnostic ultrasound examinations including abdominal, obstetric, vascular, neonatal, pelvic, breast, testicular and other small-parts imaging.
• Maintain ultrasound equipment, supplies and work areas to ensure safe, high-quality imaging and efficient operations.
• Work independently and with physicians and clinical staff, providing compassionate, age-appropriate care across the lifespan.

Education

Graduate of Diagnostic Medical Sonography program or School of Radiology
