Job summary

Ultipro Ultrasound Technologist position, full-time with varied hours between 36-40 per week. The role conducts diagnostic ultrasound procedures independently, operates equipment, and assists physicians during procedures. Coverage may be needed in other Radiology areas.

Requirements include one year ultrasound experience, ARDMS registered (or eligible), RVT, and BLS; willing to train in ECHO with on-the-job training provided; rate increase after certification.

Qualifications

Ultrasound Tech - Full-Time (varied hours between 36-40 hours/week)

The Ultrasound Technologist performs diagnostic ultrasound procedures independently and professionally. He/she also efficiently operates equipment and assists physicians during special procedures as well as maintains and improves ultrasound knowledge and skills. The Ultrasound Technologist will also provide coverage in other areas of the Radiology Department as needed. All other duties as assigned.

Experience: One (1) year of experience in Ultrasound. Excellent customer service and communication skills. Strong computer skills.

Education: Graduate form an accredited program. Must be willing and able to train in ECHO, on the job training provided. Rate increase provided once certified in ECHO.

Licenses/Certificates: ARDMS registered (or eligible). RVT Registered . Current Basic Life Support (BLS).
