Iredell Health System in Statesville, NC is seeking an Ultrasound Technician to perform comprehensive ultrasound imaging across neonatal to geriatric patients. The role supports physicians with diagnostic imaging and patient care in a collaborative setting.

The position requires ARDMS/ARRT registration or registry eligibility, BLS certification, and preferred ultrasound experience. Sign-on bonus eligibility is highlighted in the ad.

Formación

• ARDMS/ARRT Ultrasound registration or registry eligible; must be current.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology program and registered within one year.
• BLS certification through AHA or Red Cross.
• Ultrasound experience preferred.
• Ability to work with patients, families, staff and physicians.

Ultrasound Technician

We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Ultrasound Technician to join our healthcare team. This vital role performs diagnostic abdominal, vascular, small parts and pelvic sonography on neonate, infant, pediatric, adolescent, adult and geriatric patients to assist physicians in diagnosing and treating patients. Shift: Tues 9:00 PM - 7:00 AM, Wed-Fri 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Requirements

Skills and Qualifications:

• Registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technology (in Ultrasound) or ARDMS or registry eligible.
• If registry eligible, must be a graduate of an accredited program in Radiologic Technology or Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Ultrasound or AMA Accredited School of Ultrasound and must be registered within one year of hire date. Registry must be current and updated before the expiration date.
• BLS certification through The American Heart Association or American Red Cross
• Ultrasound experience preferred.
• Ability to effectively deal with patients, families, staff and physicians.
• Excellent computer, interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to exercise skills in the area of initiative, problem solving, decision-making and multi-tasking. Ability to react calmly and effectively in emergency situations. Skill in identifying problems and recommending solutions.
• Knowledge of organization policies, regulations and common safety hazard precautions to establish a safe work environment.
• The individual must possess good interpersonal skills and be able to serve, without prejudice or judgement, clients with differing lifestyles, race, economic status, age, or religious affiliation.

Physical Requirements:

Must possess full range of body motion to pass basic FIT test for position to include standing, bending, stooping and sitting for extended periods of time. Must be able to lift and carry up to 30 pounds.
