Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a twelve (12) month program in Diagnostic Medical Sonography or General Ultrasound.
• Foreign degrees qualify if RDMS registered or become registered.
• RDMS registration required within one year from hire; continuing education annually.

Responsibilities

• Complete worksheets and provide accurate exam impressions; manage image data in PACS.
• Maintain sterile environment, equipment QA, supply inventory and cleanliness.
• Collaborate with staff on patient flow and review prior studies for correlation.
• Perform ultrasound procedures, document findings, and support final diagnoses with physicians.
