Qualifications

• Proficient in diagnostic ultrasound imaging and equipment operation.
• Knowledge of anatomy, physiology, and pathology relevant to sonography.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with patients and healthcare teams.
• Attention to detail and organization for accurate imaging and documentation.
• Ability to work independently within scope of practice and maintain confidentiality.

Responsibilities

• Performs ultrasound procedures independently following department protocols.
• Verifies patient identity and ensures orders are acknowledged before imaging.
• Documents imaging procedures and patient information in the EHR with PACS integration.
• Maintains safe, clean, and organized imaging environment; adheres to infection control guidelines.
• Operates ultrasound equipment safely and in accordance with policies.
• Monitors supplies and coordinates inventory replenishment as needed.
