Job summary

Onda Corporation, a leader in measurement instruments for medical and industrial ultrasound markets, seeks a hands-on Project Engineer (Electro-Mechanical) to drive NPI and sustaining efforts. You will lead cross-functional design, manage ECOs, and interface with SMEs, vendors, and manufacturing teams.

In this dual-role, you’ll bridge technical expertise with project discipline to deliver reliable, cost-effective electro-mechanical assemblies, enhance manufacturability, and support product

Qualifications

• B.S. in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related technical discipline.
• 5+ years electro-mechanical product design with project management responsibility.
• Deep familiarity with PLM systems and structured Product Life Cycle processes; hands-on ECO/ECN workflow experience.
• Exceptional cross-functional leadership and technical communication with vendors, shop-floor technicians, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Plan and coordinate project timelines, deliverables, and cross-functional alignment.
• Own ECO process; chair weekly ECO reviews and implement design changes.
• Drive end-to-end documentation and release for new designs and revisions.
• Support electro-mechanical design projects from concept through lifecycle; improve manufacturability and reliability.
• Collaborate with SMEs, external partners, and suppliers.
• Provide escalation support to Manufacturing, Marketing, and Support teams.
