Job summary

Baptist Health in Alabama seeks a qualified Ultrasonographer to perform a range of diagnostic ultrasound exams at Baptist Medical Center East. The role includes abdomen, obstetrical, gynecological, small parts, and vascular imaging.

In the Vascular Clinic, vascular ultrasounds including lower-extremity venous insufficiency and DVT checks are performed. The position may include additional duties within the scope of the role; weekend second shift; PRN.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a Diagnostic Ultrasound program.
• Active ARRT/ARDMS registry required; BLS required.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work within rigid time constraints.
• Must monitor patient conditions and exercise independent judgment.

Responsibilities

• Perform abdomen, obstetrical, gynecological, small parts and vascular ultrasound exams.
• In the Vascular Clinic, perform vascular ultrasounds including lower extremity venous insufficiency and DVT checks.
• May be assigned additional duties within the scope of the role.
