Job summary

Vail Health seeks a skilled Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound exams and support radiologists in delivering high-quality imaging. You will review and communicate essential data while ensuring patient safety and comfort in a collaborative environment.

The role requires ARRT/ARDMS or RDMS credentials, BLS, and the ability to work closely with physicians and health care teams. Vail Health offers relocation support and a comprehensive benefits package in a mountain setting.

Qualifications

• Credential required: RDMS/ARDMS or ARRT with Sonography credential
• BLS certification required
• Experience with ultrasound and radiographic exams preferred
• Commitment to patient safety and comfort
• Ability to work with radiologists and physicians in a team

Responsibilities

• Perform all sonographic examinations according to V Health protocols
• Review exams for technical accuracy and forward to radiologist
• Communicate data to care team and ensure proper patient identification
• Monitor supplies and keep exam rooms stocked and clean
• Maintain HIPAA compliance and safety standards
• Participate in departmental meetings and team activities
• Utilize HIS and PACS systems for patient documentation
