Job summary

Vail Health in Vail, CO is seeking a PRN Sonographer to perform diagnostic ultrasound imaging in a fast-paced imaging department. The role emphasizes patient safety, accuracy, and collaboration with radiologists and clinicians.

Qualifications

• Experience with radiographic and ultrasound examinations preferred.
• Completion of ARRT or ARDMS education requirements to qualify for certification.

Responsibilities

• Perform all Sonographic examinations according to Vail Health protocols.
• Review examinations for technical accuracy and communicate data to care teams.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort, and infection control in the imaging suite.
• Maintain department policies, quality assurance, and radiation safety standards.
• Operate and document with Vail Health HIS and PACS systems.
• Collaborate with radiologists, physicians, and healthcare staff to deliver high-quality imaging.
