The Oregon Coast Is Calling Experienced Sonographers
There comes a point in many ultrasound careers when flexibility matters just as much as the work itself. Maybe you're looking to step away from a rigid schedule. Maybe you want more control over your time. Or maybe you simply want to practice in an environment where your experience is trusted and your clinical judgment matters.
At PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center in Florence, Oregon, experienced sonographers are trusted to think critically, adapt exams in real time, and contribute meaningful clinical insight. If you're the type of technologist who enjoys combining technical skill with clinical judgment, you'll find plenty of opportunities to do both here.
From general ultrasound and first-trimester OB exams to vascular studies including venous, arterial, and ABI work, you'll see a broad range of cases that keep your skills engaged and your days interesting.
This is an environment where confidence, curiosity, and strong bedside manner matter just as much as technical ability.
Just as importantly, you'll be part of a Person-First, Value-Driven, Highly Trusted organization that believes caring for caregivers is essential to caring for patients. The culture at PeaceHealth reflects that belief in everyday interactions, professional respect, and support for wellbeing.
Florence offers something increasingly difficult to find: breathing room. Instead of spending free time sitting in traffic, many locals spend it walking the beach, exploring coastal trails, fishing, kayaking, or simply enjoying a slower pace of life. It's a community where people tend to know one another, where natural beauty is part of everyday life, and where work feels connected to the community you serve. For imaging professionals looking for flexibility and balance, Florence offers both.
