Job summary

Qualifications

• Completion of a one year ultrasound training program or two years of supervised on-the-job training.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Operate conventional and portable ultrasound equipment to perform diagnostic exams.
• Assist physicians during sterile invasive procedures and discuss history and required procedures.
• Verify charge codes and ensure complete documentation for regulatory compliance.
• Schedule and coordinate ultrasound exams to optimize equipment use and workflow.
• Instruct and supervise ultrasound technology students and other staff as needed.
