Job summary

Atlantic Health System is seeking an Ultrasound Operations Manager to lead the day-to-day management of the diagnostic imaging staff and oversee ultrasound services for inpatients and outpatients. The role involves directing work, coordinating workflow, and liaising between management, staff and physicians to ensure efficient patient care.

Qualified candidates will have an Associate's/Technical Degree in imaging, state licensure in Diagnostic Sonography, ARDMS/ARRT registration, BLS/CPR, and RVT

Qualifications

• Associate's or technical degree in imaging or related field.
• Current state licensure in Diagnostic Sonography and ARDMS/ARRT registration.
• BLS/CPR certification.
• Registered Vascular Technologist (RVT).
• Minimum 4 years of experience in Sonography or imaging.

Responsibilities

• Act as the contact person for ultrasound technologists.
• Perform diagnostic procedures using ultrasound techniques.
• Explain procedures to patients and address concerns.
• Ensure adequate ultrasound supply levels.
• Report equipment failures to the appropriate departments.
• Prioritize tasks, train staff, and manage staff competency.
• Develop and implement ultrasound policies and procedures.
• Coordinate patient flow and expedite care by adjusting staff schedules.
• Maintain and coordinate the daily staff schedule.
• Perform other related duties as assigned.
